
Alanna has been in the mental health field for over 5 years after receiving her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in 2015. She obtained her Master's Degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University and is working to obtain her License as a Professional Counselor. Recently, she began her journey to obtain her PsyD in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Health and Wellness. Alanna’s experience consists of working with adolescent and adult populations in inpatient and outpatient facilities.
Alanna believes in a holistic approach, which entails healing the mind, body, and soul as well as developing a strong therapeutic alliance with her clients in order to build trust in therapy. She utilizes a multitude of evidence based therapeutic approaches including CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Alanna’s approach and technique with her clients is ultimately to develop the best version of themselves through self-discovery in therapy.
