Alexa Strelecki is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Marywood University in Scranton, PA. She obtained her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Marywood in 2020 and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from East Stroudsburg University in 2018. She is originally from Scranton, PA and has a passion for serving the NEPA community.

Alexa uses an integrative approach to therapy including interpersonal, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioral orientations. She provides services to individuals experiencing a broad range of clinical concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, family members affected by substance use, and interpersonal relationship difficulties. Alexa has experience providing services to individuals across the lifespan, ranging from young children, adolescents, and adults. She has gained clinical experience working in community mental health settings and in an adolescent inpatient unit from which she gained strong skills in suicide risk assessment and treating depression among teens. Alexa has strong clinical interests in childhood trauma and attachment as well as family of origin issues, parent-child relationships, parenting, and interpersonal relationships. She has experience administering a range of psychological assessments including cognitive and intelligence testing and personality assessment to children, adolescents, and adults. Alexa provides services to children, adolescents, and adults.
