
Ashley Frederick is a doctoral candidate (Psy. D) in Immaculata University’s Clinical Psychology program. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Marywood University and master’s degree from Immaculata University. She is currently in her last year of doctoral training at an APA-accredited internship.
Ashley uses an integrative approach to therapy that incorporates interpersonal and cognitive behavioral orientations. Her clinical training follows a general practitioner model, which has allowed her to gain experience in a wide range of settings including a VA hospital, a university setting, and an outpatient clinic. Ashley enjoys conducting individual therapy, group therapy, couples therapy, and psychological assessment. She is trained in various evidence-based practices and is currently in training to integrate heart rate variability biofeedback into her clinical work. In addition, Ashley is fascinated with health psychology and incorporates wellness and whole health initiatives into her counseling work.
