Dwayne is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). who received his Masters’ Degree from Marywood University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He currently provides virtual counseling services & is based out of the Clarks Summit location. He received his undergraduate degree in Organizational Leadership from Immaculata University and has experience presenting at a variety of professional conferences State-wide (PCA - 2019, Pa. Juvenile Justice -2001, Every Day Lives - 1997) & National Conferences (14th Annual NADD Conference- Baltimore, MD. & AAMR Region IX - Williamsburg Va. 1998 Annual Conferences). Dwayne completed his practicum experience at the Aaron Center and his internship at Forensic Counseling Associates. He is a member of several counseling organizations (ie; American Counseling Association (ACA), the Pennsylvania Counseling Association (PCA), and is currently an officer of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Counseling Association (NEPCA).

Dwayne has extensive experience supporting older adolescents, adults, and senior individuals with a variety of challenges related to emotional & mental weel being. His overarching theoretical orientation utilizes a Solution Focused Brief Therapy approach. SFBT is a goal directed brief therapy which utilizes a collaborative approach towards positive change, which is rooted in the perspective that our clients are the experts of their own unique experiences. Dwayne also utilizes and integrates an eclectic counseling style which draws from a variety of therapeutic approaches: Reality Therapy (RT), Mindfulness, Existential Therapy (ET), Interpersonal Therapy (IT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure Therapies, Trauma Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Attachment Based Therapy (ABT) approaches.
