Jenna is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) who received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from California University of Pennsylvania (Cal U). She received her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts, with a minor in Sociology.
Jenna has experience working with persons within individual and group therapies. While working toward her master’s degree from Cal U, Jenna acquired experience in working with adolescents, as well as adults at the college level via career counseling. Jenna completed her internship through Wesley Family Services as a family-based therapist, where she worked specifically with adolescents with autism and co-occurring disorders. Subsequent to receiving her master’s degree, Jenna worked in a community counseling agency, where her primary goal was to assist teens with co-occurring disorders.
Jenna utilizes a Reality Therapy approach to guide and support clients through understanding and acceptance of their needs. Jenna also utilizes an eclectic approach including cognitive-behavioral therapy and implements evidence-based approaches to ensure quality treatment outcomes for each individual client.
