Katelyn Vala is currently a doctoral candidate (Psy. D) in Marywood University’s Clinical Psychology program. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from West Chester University in 2018 and her master’s degree in clinical psychology from Marywood University in 2020. She is originally from Langhorne PA.

Katelyn provides an integrative approach to therapy including primarily interpersonal and cognitive-behavioral orientations. She provides services to individuals experiencing a broad range of clinical concerns. Katelyn has experience working with adults and geriatrics in the community mental health setting as well as inpatient facilities. She has experience with severe mental illness, depressive and anxiety disorders, significant relational challenges, and trauma. Katelyn also has strong interests in perfectionism, interpersonal relationships, complex trauma, mindfulness, and meditation. She has experience in administering and scoring intelligence and personality assessments to adults, adolescents and children. She provides services to adolescents and adults.
