Simon is working toward completion of his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He received his bachelor’s degree from Brooklyn College in Brooklyn, NY, where he majored in psychology. His training in clinical psychology is as an integrative clinical practitioner, which has provided experiences in Community Mental Health services with many clinical concerns. He has also completed training in conducting personality and intelligence testing with adults, adolescents, and children.
Simon’s training includes the use of cognitive behavioral and humanistic techniques to help foster individuals' perceptions of strength, motivation, hope and feeling supported. He uses evidenced-based interventions to help alleviate symptoms and increase quality of life. Through this lens, Simon is interested in working with adults and young adults experiencing concerns with depression, anxiety, life satisfactions issues, relational concerns, trauma and other concerns.
