Katelyn is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) who received her master’s degree in Social Work and master’s degree in Human Sexuality Studies from Widener University. Prior to graduate school, she received her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Misericordia University. Her field placement in her final year of graduate school was at The University of Pennsylvania’s Student Counseling Services Center, where she provided individual counseling to graduate and undergraduate students and co-facilitated anxiety management workshops. Katelyn also has experience in case management with children and their families as well as with older adults.

Katelyn’s approach to therapy is primarily psychodynamic, relational, and client centered. She specializes in working with individuals from late adolescence through adulthood presenting with concerns related to identity development, sexuality, interpersonal relationships, and/or self-image. Katelyn believes that an authentic therapeutic relationship is central to therapy and that each person is the expert of their own story. She is committed to co-creating a space with clients that is supportive, non-judgmental, and affirming of all identities.
