Kristyn is a student intern completing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Southern New Hampshire University. She received a B.A. in psychology and sociology at Southern New Hampshire University as well. Kristyn is from Northeast Pennsylvania but has lived in Virginia and Arizona, where she also worked in the mental health field. She has experience working with adults with mental health and substance use disorders.

Kristyn utilizes an eclectic approach to inform and construct an effective and comprehensive case conceptualization and treatment process, allowing her to see and understand every aspect of an individual’s life story and environment. She believes in making everyone feel safe, seen, and heard in an inclusive, empathetic space. Her goal is to provide compassionate, affirmative, and empowering care to her clients.

Kristyn utilizes a blend of humanistic, experiential, and cognitive behavioral theories to provide individualized and effective counseling to all. She believes in a strong therapeutic alliance and working collaboratively with her clients to move them forward and meet their goals.
