Lawrence (Larry) Berti completed his bachelor’s degree in English literature at the Pennsylvania State University, University Park, Pennsylvania. Larry earned his master’s degree in psychology and received the Dean’s List Academic Achievement Award from Harvard University Extension School, Cambridge, Massachusetts. Larry is currently pursuing his doctoral degree from the APA-accredited clinical psychology program at Immaculata University, Immaculata, Pennsylvania.
Larry has worked in a variety of mental health settings from inpatient hospitalization to outpatient telehealth therapy. Larry uses an integrated approach to therapy, drawing primarily from cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and existential modalities. While Larry specializes in addiction, depression, anxiety, OCD, and trauma, he has experience working with a wide range of diagnoses. As a doctoral student, Larry has gained experience in psychological testing for both personality and diagnostic clarification. Larry believes in the humanistic tradition of trust as the cornerstone of therapy and acceptance of oneself as the catalyst for growth and change.
