Lisa is a Licensed Social Worker who received her master's degree in social work from Marywood University. She is currently working on earning her clinical social work license.  Lisa also received her master's degree in psychology with a specialization in organizational leadership and development from the University of the Rockies and her undergraduate degree in psychology from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.

Lisa approaches therapy as a partnership, working toward empowerment, growth, and independence, to help individuals reach their full potential. She emphasizes an integrative and holistic approach to therapy, believing that each individual has their own unique strengths that can help them resolve problems and heal emotions.

Lisa has over 20 years of experience working with clients of all ages in a variety of settings, including inpatient, outpatient and community-based settings. Her experience includes case management with children and their families, supports coordination for individuals with intellectual disabilities, and 13 years of crisis intervention and risk assessment. She has worked with clients struggling with substance use in emergency settings, using Motivational Interviewing techniques and Person-Centered Therapy. Lisa has worked with older adults, providing individual and group counseling for clients with depression, anxiety, grief, and adjustment disorders. Her techniques are integrative and include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy. She has a passion for working with older adults and uses an approach to help her clients feel supported and understood.
