Nick is a Licensed Social Worker who received his master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University. Before entering graduate school, he received a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from East Stroudsburg University. During his time in school, Nick has gained experience working with the LGBTQ+ population and adolescents with a variety of backgrounds. He also has previous experience working as a case manager for families and working directly with children in the school setting.
Nick attempts to best understand others by using a person-in-environment framework with a focus on strengths. He views the therapeutic process as a collaborative partnership that sees the client as the expert on their own life. This collaborative approach allows the client to have a sense of autonomy throughout the process. Understanding the needs and wants of the client are used to help choose a therapeutic approach that best fits the client.
