Dr. Tiffany Griffiths is a licensed clinical psychologist, raised in Northeastern Pennsylvania and educated at the University of Scranton where she received her BS in psychology. She went on to pursue her doctorate in clinical psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago. Dr. Griffiths’ internship experience was gained at Chicago’s Loyola University where she worked at the University’s Counseling Center.
In 2001, she moved back east and started a private practice working from a humanistic and holistic lens. In 2007, she opened a group mental health practice and has since grown to include 7 locations throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania. Her practice provides comprehensive mental health services to include psychological testing, psychotherapy, and medication management as well as training to students in the mental health field.
Over the last decade, Dr. Griffiths has furthered her studies and training in the areas of mindfulness, psychedelic therapy, breathwork, and the intersection between psychology and spirituality. In 2017, while attending a silent retreat in Colorado, she experienced a calling to move to the Boulder area. Dr. Griffiths would come to learn that the state was planning to regulate the use of psilocybin, also known as magic mushrooms. Having always been a believer of the healing properties of psilocybin, she relocated her family to Colorado in 2021 in order to further her studies in the field of psychedelics and to legally expand her practice into the psychedelic space. In April of 2023 she completed her certification in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies and Research at The California Institute of Integral Studies. In June of 2025, Dr. Griffiths became the 25th individual to become a licensed clinical facilitator in Colorado. In addition, she has become a qualified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) instructor, a certified breathwork facilitator, and she continues her training as a shamanic practitioner.
Dr. Griffiths continues to oversee the practice in Pennsylvania. In addition, she offers MBSR classes, breathwork, psilocybin facilitation and integration, shamanic journey work, parts and somatic work, and spiritual guidance in Colorado. Dr. Griffiths also offers consulting and coaching services to business owners in the mental health space.
As a humanistic psychotherapist, Dr. Griffiths believes in the innate potential for human growth. It is her goal to provide an unconditional holding environment where wounds, traumas, patterns, and beliefs can emerge and be felt, known, honored, and transmuted. This approach allows the individual to reunite with shut off aspects of the self in order to lead a more authentic, whole, and mindful life. Her approach is integrated, holistic and eclectic, emphasizing the wholeness of our individual experiences and drawing from multiple evidence-based approaches to best fit one’s needs. Interpersonal, intrapersonal, cognitive, behavioral, physical, spiritual, and familial/generational factors are explored.
