Dr. Khan received his medical education in Karachi, Pakistan, and earned his bachelor in medicine and surgery from Sind Medical University in Karachi, Pakistan. He then went on to receive post graduate training in the field of medicine for two years at Ziauddin Medical University in Karachi, Pakistan.
To further his interest and education in the field of psychiatry. Became abroad for further studies in the US. Dr. Khan’s early research included work at prestigious NYU, Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and Children's Hospital Boston of Harvard Medical School. During this time he passed all of his listening examinations to enter the residency program in the United States of America. He received his diploma of psychiatry from Charleston West Virginia University. He then attended the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship program at the University of Toledo, Ohio. He then went on to work in the field of Child and Adolescent general psychiatry for 4 years in Michigan and then moved to Pennsylvania.
Dr. Khan is board certified in adult psychiatry as well as child and adolescent psychiatry. With his education background he is bringing to the practice his clinical experience of working with all ages in psychiatry for the past 20+ years.
