
Kel is a Counselor in Training in their internship at Commonwealth University, Lock Haven. They earned their B.A. in Psychology from Bloomsburg University in 2016 and are set to graduate in the upcoming winter semester with their M.S. CMHC.
Kel utilizes an eclectic counseling approach with humanistic and multicultural theories as a foundation. They strive to create an accommodative, healing environment for their clients where they can explore their identities and thoughts/feelings in a safe space. Kel has a strong background in advocation for marginalized people and believes in the significance of community and support systems for mental wellbeing. They also explore the mind-body connection and how it impacts both mental and physical health as well.
