Dr. Lacy Foster is a postdoctoral fellow. She received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Marywood University’s APA-accredited program in 2026. She completed her APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at Pilgrim Psychiatric Center in New York, where she provided individual and group psychotherapy in an inpatient setting and worked primarily with serious and persistent mental illness. She has completed previous training in community mental health, private practice, college counseling, and inpatient psychiatric settings. Dr. Foster has experience working with individuals across the lifespan, from children to older adults.
Dr. Foster has extensive experience in both therapeutic intervention and assessment. Her theoretical background includes therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic, interpersonal therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and integrative approaches. Dr. Foster tailors her approaches to work with individuals of all ages and multicultural backgrounds. She currently provides therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults.
