
Marissa Galardi is a graduate student pursuing her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Marywood University. She completed her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Marywood University and her bachelor’s degrees in Neuroscience and Philosophy at the University of Scranton. As a Scranton native, Marissa enjoys serving the members of the community in which she was raised. Throughout her graduate studies, she has worked in college counseling and community mental health settings where she provided psychotherapeutic services to children, adults, and older adults.
Marissa employs a flexible, integrative approach to therapy that calls upon cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, dialectical behavioral, and person-centered techniques to best meet the individualized needs of each client. Within the therapy space, she strives to create a collaborative, exploratory, and non-judgmental environment, and she emphasizes individual strengths in the promotion of health and wellness. Marissa firmly believes in meeting each client where they are and ultimately aspires to promote insight, confidence, and healing.
