
Sandra brings over 30 years of experience in related social work and counseling roles, ranging from Drug and Alcohol Treatment Specialist, to Individual, Marital, and Family Therapist, and Clinical Supervisor and Manager of an Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Program. Her knowledge includes a combination of mental health and addiction issues, focusing on supporting people to make healthy choices for themselves and in their relationships.
Sandra employs trauma-informed counseling methods and has worked as a private therapist for over 10 years with Valley Counseling and Associates. She has also been an adjunct faculty member at Marywood University Graduate School of Social Work for over 10 years. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services from the University of Scranton and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Marywood College.
Currently, Sandra works full time at the VA Hospital as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has completed Evidenced Based Trainings in Problem Solving Therapy Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for SUDS as well as Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma. She is available at the Kingston office.
