Victoria earned her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology pre-counseling and Master of Science degree in marriage and family therapy from Capella University. Victoria is working toward full licensure as an LMFT. Victoria also holds a counseling certification in play therapy. Her education in sexual issues initiates her intent to specialize in sex therapy.
Victoria has experience working with children as a former pre-k teacher’s assistant and supervisor for the school-age program at a community daycare center. This allowed her to learn the developmental and emotional needs of children.
Victoria uses a collaborative, client-centered approach when working with clients. Her ability to think systemically acknowledges the various parts of a person’s life that influence behavior. She values multicultural perspectives and promotes social justice by advocating for marginalized groups.
